Twist Bioscience Offers New Scholarship Opportunity to Attend PyBay
Last week we announced the launch of our scholarship program for those seeking financial aid to attend PyBay 2016 from August 19-21 in San Francisco. Today, we are thrilled to share that another awesome company, Twist Bioscience, a biotech start-up, has come onboard to send two scholarship award recipients to PyBay!
Twist Bioscience is a biotech start-up that synthesizes DNA on silicon to expedite the design, build, test cycle to enable personalized medicines, pharmaceuticals, sustainable chemical production, improved agriculture production, diagnostics, biodetection and data storage. One of Twist Bioscience's goals is to increase awareness and excitement around biotech opportunities in scientific research and software development, and their outreach program includes supporting students interested in life science and biotech. Here at PyBay we are happy to be working with Twist Bioscience who shares our devotion in building an inclusive tech community of diverse and multi-faceted perspectives.
